About Jojo

I have always been proud to be a West Coast girl! I love my hood. I have so many fond memories of places that mean a lot to me today and I know I am not alone. We usually have that special place in our hearts for where we live or have lived. This is why I created my Community Apparel Collection, bringing back memories to others and wearing it proud.

I hope to eventually have a design for all of Vancouver neighborhoods and welcome any advice for designs. My first design was KITS and I had so much input from my Kitsilano (now and then) Facebook Group members. These designs are so popular and that is what started me on this journey.

I have been an artist since a very young age, always making something. I am an acrylic painter on canvas, a crafter, sewer and a Tie-Dye specialist. Since 2010 you can usually find me at most of the Festivals in Vancouver with my Tie-Dye booth. I started Tie-Dying in 2008 for the Hippie Daze festival and was hooked! Since then I have broadened my horizons with this website that I am so excited about!

I love my hood, I work in my neighborhood for a non profit, and volunteer locally as much as I can. Wearing my clothing designs in the neighborhood always gets people talking to me and I love that!

I hope you “Join the Club,” email me with ideas for designs you would like to see and thank you so much for shopping locally and supporting your local artist!
